My name is Yvonne and I love working with people, and making a difference whenever am given a chance.
I have worked with different communities in the past and it has been fulfilling to work with the vulnerable sector along side great people of all different backgrounds.
What interests me about working at Sunrise House is the effort everyone puts in effortlessly to make a difference in the life of every youth that walks through the door. The relationship staff builds with youth by engaging and supporting them despite of different ages or backgrounds that alone is a plus and makes me want to be part of it more. Staff and communities, all of us put together as a team, we do create safety support, in different ways by Creating Genuine Care, Humility and Balance for the most part amongst our vulnerable youth we serve which all leads to one common goal, Safety.
Personally, I believe by working at Sunrise is a great honor to be part of an organization where Youth have Space to call SAFE – That in itself is so rewarding.
